The Plot
The film’s plot takes place five years after Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah. The monster from the sea is detected reappearing and wreaking havoc on technology facilities owned by the Apex company in Pensacola. Bernie, one of Apex’s employees, finds a large device in the basement when Godzilla destroys the place. As a podcast artist, Bernie tells all events on his podcast channel.
Meanwhile, Kong wakes up angry and throws a tree branch into the sky, revealing a mysterious dome. Jia, a little girl who is close to him, informs Dr. Ilene about Kong’s condition. Elsewhere, Dr. Lind is approached by Walter, CEO of Apex, to help find a source of energy in Hollow Earth.
Lind visits Ilene with the idea of bringing Kong to find a way to Hollow Earth. On the journey, they are suddenly attacked by Godzilla on the sea. A battle at sea ensues, resulting in many casualties and the destruction of many ships. By turning off the ship’s engine, they managed to fool Godzilla into leaving the place.
Meanwhile, in Pensacola, Madison Russell and Josh managed to persuade Bernie to take them to the ruins of Apex’s technology facility to find the large device he had seen before. Failing to find the device, they instead got carried away in the cargo sent to Hong Kong through a secret passage.

While Godzilla is out of control after getting the source of energy, Mechagodzilla, a giant-sized Godzilla robot, begins to wreak havoc in Hong Kong.
