Sanji’s Strengths and the Possibility of Defeating Kizaru in One Piece

Posted on

Sanji is known as the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates in the One Piece world. He, along with Zoro, is one of Luffy’s closest allies among the crew. Their bond allowed them to become the notorious Trio Monster in the Straw Hat Pirates. Sanji’s exceptional abilities lie in the strength of his legs, which became his signature during combat. He can even match the Soru techniques of Kaifa and Jyabura of CP-9 with just the strength of his kicks. Sanji’s power continues to evolve as he displayed his strength against Queen.

Interestingly, Sanji also possesses genetic modifications, known as the Germa power, given to him by his scientist father. The Germa power manifests when Sanji finds himself in a tight spot. However, despite the awesome abilities he has, many still doubt if he is strong enough to face Admiral Kizaru and win.

This article discusses the theories surrounding Sanji’s potential ability to defeat Kizaru. In the movie Red, Akagam No Shanks demonstrates how to counter Kizaru’s swiftness by using the Haushoku and Kenbunshoku Haki simultaneously. Kizaru is a light, and if Sanji develops a speed faster than him, he could take him down. Oda, the creator of One Piece, revealed in a column SBS that Sanji’s dominant power is his Kenbunshoku Haki. Additionally, Sanji’s Bushosoku Haki and Germa’s Ifrit Jambe create a potent combination.

Unfortunately, Sanji has yet to awaken his Haoshoku Haki. However, in SBS Volume 105, Oda encourages fans to look forward to Sanji’s progress in the future, implying that there could be more power for Sanji to come. If Sanji can possess Haoshoku Haki, the possibility of defeating Admiral Kizaru would increase exponentially.
