Mushoku Tensei: Reincarnation of the Unemployed Gets New OVA Episode
Fans of the anime, Mushoku Tensei: Reincarnation of the Unemployed, have something to look forward to as the series is set to receive a new OVA episode. According to the official website of the anime in Japan, the OVA will be included in the fourth-volume Blu-ray disc package, which will be sold in Japan on March 16, 2022. Included in the package is the Eris no Goblin Tobatsu episode that has a newly released trailer.
The trailer showcases several new characters, one of them being Cliff, a young male wizard of Rudeus’ age. The episode title, Eris no Goblin Tobatsu, refers to the conquest of goblins by Eris and Ruijerd, as they are operating away from Rudeus.
The last episode of Mushoku Tensei featured the reunion of father and son — Paul and Rudeus. At first, they argued because Paul thought Rudi was just having fun with his beautiful daughter. Meanwhile, Paul’s wife, Liliana, and Aisha were worried sick about their whereabouts. However, the dispute ended in peace, and they continued their search for their family.
While the reunion of Paul and Rudeus was the center of the last episode, the story of Eris and Ruijerd was not shown. The new OVA episode will reveal what happened to Eris and Ruijerd when they were away from Rudeus. The trailer reveals that Eris and Ruijerd were trying to conquer goblins at the time.
Mushoku Tensei positions Rudeus as the main character of the story. Rudeus was initially a 34-year-old man who died while trying to save others from a car accident before reincarnating as a baby named Rudeus Greyrat. Due to his knowledge from his past life and new powers as Rudeus, he quickly grows and develops. He enjoys his new life and tries to improve himself, although his perverted tendencies still linger as a bad habit.
Mushoku Tensei: Reincarnation of the Unemployed has captivated audiences with its intriguing plot and a bit of teenage fan service between Rudeus and Eris. The release of the new trailer for the OVA episode has made fans even more excited to see what happens next.
