Indonesia continues to solidify its position as a leading nation in PUBG Mobile eSports with a second gold medal win at the SEA Games. The national team, INA 2, brought home the gold at the multi-sport event held in Kamboja on May 14, 2023. This followed the inclusion of PUBG Mobile as an official eSports branch at the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam, where Indonesia also won one gold and one silver medal in team and individual events, respectively.

The latest gold medal at the 32nd SEA Games has made Indonesia the only Southeast Asian country to have won two gold medals in the PUBG Mobile eSports team event. And it was quite a dominant performance with 95 professional players and 19 national teams from 10 Southeast Asian countries participating in the four-day event at Olympia Mall in Phnom Penh.

Indonesia sent two national teams to compete.
