Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4 will bring to life the Hashira Training Arc from the manga. Fans will encounter almost all Hashira in the series as they train the Demon Slayers to prepare for their fight with Muzan Kibutsuji. Note: Contains Manga Spoilers! Not all Hashira will participate in this training, as Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho requested permission not to join. She had to prepare poison to face Muzan, and this decision was granted by Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima. Regardless, this won’t lessen the excitement of this arc. Currently, the Demon Slayer Corps only has seven active Hashira left, following the death of Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, and the retirement of Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui. Without Shinobu, only six active Hashira will be involved in the Hashira Training Arc. Who are they? Let’s find out!

1. Giyu Tomioka: Giyu is the first Hashira introduced in Kimetsu no Yaiba. Despite appearing multiple times, he remains a mysterious figure due to his cold and reserved personality. In the Hashira Training Arc, more of his background will be revealed. Giyu was supposed to have a schedule to train the Demon Slayers, but he refused to do so because he felt unworthy. The Demon Slayer Corps then sent Tanjiro to persuade him, and Tanjiro did his duty well.

2. Gyomei Himejima: The newest Hashira is said to be the strongest in the series. He serves as the leader of the Hashira and is highly trusted by his boss, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Despite his towering size, Gyomei has a soft heart. In the Hashira Training Arc, he gives rigorous training to the Demon Slayers to enhance their strength by strengthening their muscles. Gyomei’s training is quite challenging for them.

3. Sanemi Shinazugawa: Sanemi is known for his rough and gruff personality, but he actually cares for his younger brother. Season 3 provided a glimpse of his past with his brother, Genya, but their relationship is further explored in the Hashira Training Arc. The Wind Hashira provides one of the toughest training sessions for the Demon Slayers. The conflict between Sanemi and Genya is also highlighted in this arc.

4. Obanai Iguro: Obanai only had a brief appearance in the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. The Snake Hashira is one of the best swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps, with his sword resembling a coiled snake. Although he is blind in one eye, Obanai should not be underestimated. In the Hashira Training Arc, fans will see him in action. Though he won’t duel with demons, Obanai will revise the Demon Slayers’ swordsmanship skills. His training is not easier than that given by Gyomei or Sanemi.

5. Mitsuri Kanroji: Mitsuri gained significant attention at the end of season 3. The Love Hashira demonstrated her skills in battling Upper Moon 4 Demon, Hantengu, who was difficult to defeat. Her collaboration with Tanjiro, Genya, and Nezuko yielded satisfying results in the season’s finale. Season 3 also showed her agility and dexterity. Using a whip-shaped sword, Mitsuri was highly effective in long-range combat. In the Hashira Training Arc, she’s in charge of training the Demon Slayers’ flexibility in a unique way.

In conclusion, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4 will bring us the much-awaited Hashira Training Arc from the manga, with intense training sessions for the Demon Slayers, courtesy of the six active Hashira, each with their unique way of training. Fans are excited to learn more about the Hashira’s backgrounds and see their skills in action. It’s sure to be a thrilling ride.
