Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 4 has released its official teaser, making the viewers excited as soon as season 3 was out. The end of season 3 gave a surprise to all the viewers, especially those who only watched its anime. Tanjiro, along with Nezuko, Genya Shinazugawa, and Mitsuri Kanroji managed to defeat Hantengu. On the other hand, Hashira Kabut Muichiro Tokito had to undergo treatment after defeating Gyokko alone and suffering from the demon poison.

Tanjiro’s journey to find a cure for Nezuko and take revenge against Muzan Kibutsuji is not over yet. Although Nezuko can survive under sunlight, still, she is a demon. It takes the viewers to the end of this series. So, let’s dive into everything we know so far about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 4.

1. Release Date of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4
Teaser of season 4 has been released, but there is no announcement regarding its release date. Looking at the “tradition” of this anime series since season 1, season 4 is likely to be released in 2024 or 2025. Ufotable has always been very consistent with the release of the anime.

Season 1 Kimetsu no Yaiba was released in the summer of 2019. Then, Mugen Train came in the fall of 2020. However, the serial released in the fall of 2021. Meanwhile, Entertainment District was released in winter 2021 and ended in 2022. Season 3, which has just completed, was released in the spring of 2023. If Ufotable follows its schedule, season 4 may be released at the earliest in the summer of next year, but it can also be released in the fall.

2. Characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4
According to the teaser, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 4 will feature all the Hashira. Fans who are eager to meet and know more about these characters can satisfy themselves. All the Hashira will appear in this season.

The viewers will get to know Giyu Tomioka even better in season 4. Retired Tengen Uzui will also appear in season 4. It will also reunite Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito. Meanwhile, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya will return in this season. Those who missed the craziness of Zenitsu and Inosuke can take a breath. Both will appear in season 4 and ready to mess up each other’s peace. Kanao Tsuyuri also makes an appearance.

3. Plot of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4

Season 4 will adapt the Hashira Training arc, which is a direct continuation of the Swordsmith Village. This arc tells the story of the Demon Slayers undergoing training directly under the Hashira. Tanjiro is still recovering after fighting hard in the Swordsmith Village when he receives news about the Hashira training.

Initially, Giyu unwilling to join as he feels he is not a Hashira. But, the Demon Slayer Corps did not lose its mind. They sent Tanjiro to meet Giyu and convince him in their way. From there, several aspects of Giyu’s past begin to unfold, and the training begins. Specifically, Gyomei pays special attention to Tanjiro.

The Hashira Training arc will bring the audience closer to the end of the journey of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. In the Hashira Training, Kagaya Ubuyashiki has called Tamayo to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters to discuss how to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji. Whatever happens in season 4 will have a significant impact in the following season.

With the adaptation of the Hashira Training arc, Kimetsu no Yaiba only has one arc left, the Final Arc. That arc has two sub-arcs, the Mugen Castle, and the Countdown to Sunrise. Although they don’t fight demons in the Hashira Training arc, this arc is crucial to the final journey of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
