The twelfth episode of Bungo Stray Dogs anime series is going through the most intense climax of season 4. The position of the detective agency group is getting tougher, and they are in a difficult situation. However, they are determined not to give up. Atsushi and Kyoka are receiving protection from Ango Sakaguchi and have successfully hidden in Lucy’s subroom. But the safer place is discovered by the military police who have an exceptional instinct and can guess that the remaining detective agency members are hiding in Lucy’s subroom.

Even though the military police initially didn’t know the whereabouts of Lucy, they discovered that she had gone to the Casino Skyward, and they chased her there. In the casino, a brawl took place between the military police and the casino manager, Sigma. The remarkable thing in this episode is Sigma’s appearance, who is considered the strongest character. During the chaos, he quickly took action to protect his customers, even understanding their personal needs to quickly provide the most appropriate action.

In addition to deploying all his abilities to protect customers, Sigma also had to figure out how to deal with the military police. He had to gamble with many things, including taking risks to destroy the casino where he serves. The fight between the military police and the casino was planned by Ango to expose the true global terrorists. Before Atsushi, Kyoka, and Lucy went to the casino, Ango explained that the V group had planned an economic crisis that could trigger another world war.

When they arrived at the casino, Atsushi and Kyoka intentionally allowed the military police to find explosive material and control the communication room. Their goal was to end the V group’s well-planned program. When the real terrorists were uncovered, the armed agency group hoped to clear their names. Atsushi’s plan was based on Dazai’s plan, who is currently still in prison in Europe.

Meanwhile, Dazai is talking to a V group member about the casino manager, Sigma, from a distant European prison. Dazai asked why Sigma, who was not someone, had no past, and was not a user of abilities, was chosen as the casino manager. The V group member replied that Sigma is the strongest person in the world. For him, the strongest person is not a user of abilities or a ruler, but a person who has nothing.

“Sigma has no past. He has amnesia. He doesn’t know who he is, Sigma is searching for a place to belong. That place is the casino. That’s why to protect the casino, his immense determination will burn even the bloodhound dogs to dust. The scariest thing in the world is an ordinary person in despair.”

In conclusion, the twelfth episode of Bungo Stray Dogs delved deeper into the complex world that they live in. It also showed the power of determination and how it can lead to unexpected results. With Dazai still in prison, the rest of the agency group is carrying on his master plan, which is to save the world from the impending economic crisis. The intense climax of season 4 has us all on the edge of our seats, waiting to see what will happen next.
