Anime is a treasure trove of unique abilities. Almost every anime character is depicted with different superpowers. Some can manipulate fire, ice, time, and even sound. Although sound manipulation may not be a popular power in anime, it is still interesting to discuss. Bonolenov Ndongo is a member of the Phantom Troupe and comes from a clan that pierces their bodies to create music. Because of this, he always covers his body with bandages. When uncovered, Bonolenov can produce sound from the wind that enters through the holes in his body. Each sound produces a different ability. As seen in the Chimera Ants arc, Bonolenov can drop a giant ball like Jupiter using this ability.
2. Kyoka Jiro (My Hero Academia)

Kyoka Jiro is a student in class 1-A at Yuei Academy. Like most characters in My Hero Academia, Jiro also has a unique power called Quirk. Named Earphone Jack, Jiro’s Quirk gives her a pair of headphone jacks in both ears. When plugged into the ground, Jiro can hear every small sound around her. This ability is usually used to detect the presence of enemies. Even if the enemy moves very slowly, their movements will still be heard by Jiro.
3. Kahono (Black Clover)

Kahono is a priestess at the Underwater Temple who dreams of becoming an idol. Kahono is a user of Song Magic which can manipulate magic with her singing. With this magic, Kahono can attack her enemies with sound waves, make someone fall asleep with her song, and even heal wounds with her sweet voice.
4. Tayuya (Naruto)

Tayuya is a member of the Sound Four who was sent by Orochimaru to bring Sasuke Uchiha to Otogakure. In her fight against Shikamaru, it was revealed that Tayuya used the Devil’s Flute in battle. This flute is useful for many things. Tayuya can use the flute to control Doki, three giant creatures that can absorb their enemy’s energy. Even more powerful, Tayuya can also use Genjutsu through the flute.
5. Koichi Hirose (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure)
Koichi Hirose and Echoes (David Production/JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable)
Koichi Hirose is the friend of Josuke Higashikata and one of the main characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Koichi has the ability to manipulate sound thanks to his Stand known as Echoes. Echoes has three different abilities, namely ACT1, ACT2, and ACT3. ACT1 allows Echoes to write words like onomatopoeia in the air, ACT2 allows him to write sound effects in the air, and ACT3 allows him to give his enemy a heavy burden resulting in the enemy being unable to move.
