Why the World Government Didn’t Capture the Remaining Crew of Roger’s Pirates After Finding One Piece: Eiichiro Oda’s Revelation

Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the hit manga and anime series One Piece, finally reveals the reason why the World Government didn’t capture the remaining crew of Roger’s Pirates after finding One Piece. The decision made by the Gorosei, the supreme leaders of the World Government, to let the remaining crew of the Pirate King Roger go free was right. All members of Roger’s crew, except for Shanks and Buggy, have seen the legendary treasure One Piece.

Roger’s crew were the first pirates to set foot on Raftel, and they conquered the Grand Line. The Gorosei have two major reasons for not capturing the remaining crew of Roger’s Pirates. Firstly, Roger made a decision at the end of his life to surrender himself to the World Government, which was covered up to make it look like the Navy captured a pirate king. In reality, Roger found One Piece and disbanded his crew, choosing to be executed instead. The former members of Roger’s Pirates went on their separate paths in life, with only Shanks and Rayleigh staying in touch.

On the other hand, the World Government also acknowledges the strength of the remaining members of Roger’s crew. If we compare their strength to that of Douglas Bullet, who was captured by the Navy in the movie STAMPEDE, it required the use of a Buster Call. Therefore, if the former members of Roger’s Pirates, such as Rayleigh and Scopper Gaban, have the same strength as Bullet, the Navy would need to use many Buster Calls to capture them.

Thus, the World Government, particularly the Gorosei, decided to let the former members of Roger’s Pirates be free. However, they must keep an eye on them since some have already seen One Piece, which is believed to hold the secret of the world, including the Void Century. Despite fearing that the former members of Roger’s Pirates might leak the truth about One Piece, the World Government is unable to do much, including capturing them.

In conclusion, Eiichiro Oda’s revelation about the reason why the World Government didn’t capture the remaining crew of Roger’s Pirates after finding One Piece is because of two major reasons: Roger’s decision to surrender himself and the strength of the former members of his crew. These reasons made the Gorosei decide to let them be free, but they still need to be wary of them due to their prior knowledge about One Piece.
