Kaguya Otsutsuki is the main antagonist in Naruto Uzumaki’s storyline and Naruto Shippuden. She is the source of conflict and the biggest threat faced by the shinobi forces across the world. However, even with all the powers she displayed during the Fourth Great Ninja War, there are still some abilities of Kaguya that remain shrouded in mystery. 1. Manipulating Other People’s Memories
Kaguya Otsutsuki’s ability to manipulate other people’s memories is distinct from Eida’s Genjutsu because its range is only near Kaguya. This power was demonstrated in Naruto Shippuden Episode 460 when Kaguya faced Tenji. When Tenji’s subordinates tried to corner her, asking her to reveal her true identity, Kaguya remained silent until she successfully manipulated the memories of everyone around her.
2. Wind Blast Jutsu from Byakugan Eyes
Kaguya’s Byakugan eyes can create a powerful wind blast. This power was shown in Naruto Shippuden Episode 461 when Kaguya used it in front of her second son, Hamura Otsutsuki. It is unclear what Kaguya’s purpose was, but it is likely that she wanted to control Hamura’s body and see everything going on in his mind. From her words, it is suggested that Kaguya could read Hamura’s mind during that conversation.
3. Reading Other People’s Thoughts and Emotions
In Naruto Shippuden Episode 462, Kaguya scolded her two sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, for breaking her order not to go to Mount Myoboku. She spoke as if she knew what was going on in their minds and emotions, so it would be pointless for them to deny it. This statement proved that Kaguya’s Byakugan eyes could easily read other people’s thoughts and emotions.
4. Controlling Others’ Bodies
In the same episode, Kaguya controlled Hamura’s body, forcing him to fight Hagoromo because they disobeyed her. Kaguya used her Byakugan to infiltrate Hamura’s mind and made him fight his own brother. When Hagoromo found out, he had to attack Hamura on his vital points to bring him back to consciousness. Hamura died from that attack, but Hagoromo managed to revive him with the “reanimation” jutsu he acquired at Mount Myoboku. According to Gamamaru, “reanimation” is a priceless treasure that is passed down from generation to generation in the Land of Toads.
These four powers possessed by Kaguya Otsutsuki are still mysterious to the fans of Naruto Uzumaki. Perhaps in the future manga or anime, there will be more information, but for now, we can only hope and wait to see what else this formidable and enigmatic character has in store for us.
