Uncovering the Mysterious Obsession of Im Sama in One Piece

Im Sama is the most mysterious character in the One Piece story. Despite having appeared in the story so far, Eiichiro Oda has yet to reveal anything about their identity or powers. However, fans of One Piece may not have noticed that Oda has already hinted at an unusual obsession that Im Sama has. One clue to this obsession is the flower room that Im Sama often occupies when not in the Empty Throne room. Observing closely, Oda consistently depicts many butterflies whenever Im Sama is in this room. It seems like Im Sama is talking to the butterflies that fly around and land on their fingers.

Moreover, fans may know of the myth that the spirits of the deceased often take on the form of animals. It is also believed that these animal spirits will seek out their loved ones or even those they have grudges against when they were still alive in the world. It’s possible that the flower room contains the spirits of those who Im Sama has killed, with Im Sama attempting to communicate with them. This obsessive behavior towards corpses and spirits sets Im Sama apart from normal human beings.

In another room belonging to Im Sama, there are frozen corpses of individuals whose identities are unknown. Among these corpses are Joy Boy and Nefertari Lili. Joy Boy’s giant straw hat that was found in the room cements his inclusion in the list of frozen corpses. Meanwhile, the sword stuck in the flower room where Im Sama talks to the butterflies is believed to belong to Nefertari Lili, and Im Sama mentioned her name in front of King Cobra in the latest chapter of the manga.

It’s definitely intriguing to see what other surprising facts Eiichiro Oda has in store for Im Sama in future chapters of One Piece. The mysterious obsession of Im Sama adds more depth and mystery to the already complex story of One Piece.
