Tokyo Revengers has released its latest trailer for the Tenjiku Arc, which will continue the story from the Christmas Battle Arc that ended last March. This series will still be exclusively shown on Disney+ Hotstar. Fans won’t have to wait long to find out the continuation of Takemichi Hanagaki’s story. The Tenjiku Arc will air in the fall slot or this autumn season. Though there are no definite dates yet, the arc will possibly air around October this year.
As with every arc, Tokyo Revengers will introduce new characters. The same will happen in the Tenjiku Arc. At least four new characters will appear in the series and they will complement the ones previously introduced.
In the previous season, Tokyo Revengers focused on the Black Dragon Arc. The finale hinted at the end of the series. The arc ended with Takemichi deciding to stop time-travelling until he becomes the leader of Toman with Mikey. Takemichi realized that stopping Mikey and firing Tetta Kisaki from Toman was crucial to changing the course of history.
In Tokyo Revengers Season 2, episode 13, Takemichi declared his intention to take over Toman from Chifuyu after returning to the past. Meanwhile, the Tenjiku gang attacked Toman. The Tenjiku Arc adaptation covers more than half of Tokyo Revengers’ story, leaving only the Bonten Arc and the final arc. The final arc consists of the Three Emperors and the Kanto Manji, where Takemichi forms his own gang to confront Mikey and end the multiverse cycle of suffering. The Tenjiku Arc spans from Chapter 122-188 in the manga.
Koichi Hatsumi will direct Tokyo Revengers Season 2’s Tenjiku Arc. Hiroaki Tsutsumi composed the music while Yasuyuki Muto was the series composer. Kenichi Onuki and Keiko Ota created the character design.
