The recent release of One Piece 1085 has brought back a fan-favorite character, Nefetari Vivi. Vivi first appeared in the Alabasta arc as the royal princess of the Alabasta kingdom and was a descendant of the Nefetari family, one of the twenty kingdoms that formed the World Government.

In chapter 1084, it was revealed that the Alabasta queen at that time, Lily, who was also a member of the Nefetari family, declined an invitation to become a Tenryuubito. Following her refusal, she disappeared without a trace, and her body was never found. Fast forward to chapter 1085, and Lily’s body has been discovered in the Pangea Mariejoa palace, indicating that the Nefetari family has a more significant role to play in the story.

Additionally, the chapter hints at the existence of Cobra, the late king of Alabasta, and Vivi’s father. After the Reverie, Cobra searched for his late grandmother, Lily. Upon his arrival, he was surprised by the appearance of a figure who occupied the empty throne believed to be Im Sama. He died on the spot, and his body was presumably buried alongside Lily in the Pangea Mariejoa palace.
