The Possible Theory of Kurohige Eating Three Devil Fruits in One Piece

In the world of One Piece, theories abound about the infamous Blackbeard or Marshall D Teach, and his potential to become the strongest pirate. Many of these theories revolve around the possibility of him consuming three devil fruits, despite it being thought impossible. Teach has already consumed two devil fruits, making him the only known character in the One Piece universe with more than one.

Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has yet to explain how this happened. Based on his vast knowledge of devil fruits, he created a pirate crew modeled after the legendary Rocks Pirates, who were renowned for having multiple devil fruit users. As evidenced in their battles on Winner Island and Hachinosu, all members of Teach’s crew are also devil fruit users, making them feared throughout the world of One Piece.

The original Rocks Pirates, led by Xebec, were also known for being a formidable crew of devil fruit users, including the likes of Shirohige and Big Mom. Teach likely modeled his crew after the Rocks Pirates and may even have obtained Xebec’s devil fruit. Some fans speculate that Xebec had the Hito Hito no Mi model Nika, which subsequently became Monkey D. Luffy’s devil fruit.

If this theory is true, then Teach may have to go up against Garp, who ultimately defeated Xebec, to get his hands on the devil fruit. While Teach may have three devil fruit powers at his disposal, he may still not be able to defeat Garp, who is a master of haki. One way or another, the theory surrounding Kurohige consuming three devil fruits is an exciting topic for fans of One Piece.
