The Most Useless Quirks in My Hero Academia You Probably Didn’t Know About

My Hero Academia, created by Kohei Horikoshi, is one of the most popular shounen anime of all time. The show features a unique power system known as quirks or bakat, where each character has a unique ability. While some of them seem incredibly powerful, not all quirks are effective in battle and can be cumbersome for the user. Here is a list of the top five quirks in My Hero Academia that are completely useless.

10. Hanta Sero – Tape: Sero can shoot tape from his elbows, which he can then use to tape up anything in his path. However, the tape can dry out his skin if he uses it too much, rendering him helpless. Although it seems like an interesting power, it can backfire on him in battle.

9. Teruo Hazukashi – Shame: This quirk allows Hazukashi to gain strength by feeling shame. He must feel self-conscious in order to use his powers, and if he is defeated before he gathers enough strength, his power will prove to be useless.

8. Mustard – Gas: Mustard’s quirk is to release gas that can put anyone to sleep. However, he is also affected by the gas, and if he is not careful, he can easily succumb to the effects of his own quirk.

7. Rikido Sato – Sugar Rush: This power allows Rikido to gain strength by consuming lots of sugary foods, but it also means that he must have a ready supply of sweets on hand to be effective. This makes his power highly dependent on his diet and tends to be impractical.

6. Yuga Aoyama – Navel Laser: Yuga can release a powerful laser from his navel that can cause significant damage. However, if he uses it too much, he can suffer from a severe stomach ache, which means that he will no longer be able to use his powers effectively.

5. Tatami Nakagame – Telescopic: Tatami has the ability to extend her limbs, but they become brittle and can break easily if she uses them too much. This power is not only useless but dangerous to her as well.

While some quirks in My Hero Academia are incredibly powerful, there are also those that are impractical, and can even be dangerous to those who use them. These quirks have proven themselves to be ineffective in battle, making them useless in the anime’s world.
