In One Piece chapter 1080, Eiichiro Oda doesn’t show the winner of the Law and Kurohige fight just yet. The fight may reveal more about the Rocky Port incident where Law and Kurohige played major roles.
Eiichiro Oda plans to reveal the events of the Rocky Port incident, where Law is believed to be the mastermind. Law made a move to become a Shichibukai, and it fueled the incident. Teach and the Blackbeard pirates benefited the most out of it, taking over Hachinosu Island, where their captain aims to become King. The fight between Kurohige and Law will be the continuation of the Rocky Port incident, and they will involve Coby, who was taken hostage by the Blackbeard pirates at Amazon Lily.
