Takt Op. Destiny (2021) is a collaborative project between Madhouse and MAPPA, directed by Yuuki Itoh, and created by Yoshimura Kiyoko. Episode 1-9

Asahina Takt, Schneider Anna, and Unmei go to New York, but during the trip, they face the D2 monsters who attack them due to Takt’s obsession with music. Takt deliberately plays the piano to attract them out and eventually defeats them with the help of Unmei. In a flashback, Takt is left traumatized after his father’s death and the loss of his sister, Cosette. When they attend the Symphonica party in town, D2 monsters attack, and Cosette dies. However, Cosette’s necklace reincarnates her into Unmei, who then gives Takt the conductor’s baton to help him fight the monsters.

Takt and Unmei fight the D2 monsters together, but their numbers keep increasing. Unmei collapses due to the instability of her condition as a Musicart. Musicart Titan and Lenny save them from the monsters, and Lenny suggests that they go to Symphonica in New York for treatment. On their way to Las Vegas, Lenny trains Unmei and Takt to fight D2.
