Cinta Subuh is a romantic drama film that revolves around the pursuit of true love by a young man named Angga. Adapted from a popular novel, this film offers a unique perspective on love and relationships from an Islamic point of view. Directed by Indra Gunawan, the movie features a talented cast that includes Dinda Hauw, Rey Mbayang, Roger Danuarta, Syakir Daulay, and Dhini Aminarti.

In this film, the audience is introduced to Angga, a heartbroken young man who is trying to find solace in his friend Ghani’s company. To cheer him up, Ghani invites him to join him for morning prayers at a local mosque. Though initially reluctant, Angga agrees to come along for only one reason- he has set his sights on a beautiful girl he met at the mosque, Ratih, whom he believes is his soulmate.

Despite initially coming off as cold and uninterested, Angga eventually manages to get Ratih’s phone number. However, his hopes are quickly dashed as he realizes that the number he obtained was fake. Nevertheless, Angga refuses to give up and tries his best to win Ratih’s heart through his humor and charm. After a rainy encounter, he finally gets a hold of Ratih’s real phone number and starts texting her.

While Ratih is initially annoyed by Angga’s constant attention, she slowly starts to warm up to him and sees him for the kind and caring person he is. As they begin to date, Ratih lays down a set of conditions that Angga needs to follow, including being more religiously diligent, focusing on his studies, and not engaging in any physical contact. However, things start to go awry when Angga finds it challenging to wake up for morning prayers, a vital task that Ratih holds in high regard.
