Tanjirou, Inosuke, and Zenitsu are given a new mission to go to Mount Natagumo. As they near their destination, Zenitsu suddenly becomes afraid and stays behind. Inosuke becomes the leader of the mission, but they are confronted by demons controlled by an even stronger demon. Eventually, they are attacked by the spider demon mother, who is the strongest among the demons in the forest.
