Synopsis
Dangerous Lies is a 2020 Mystery, Thriller, Crime, and Drama movie directed by Michael Scott. The movie tells the story of Katie (Camila Mendes) and her husband Adam (Jessie Usher) who are going through a financial crisis in life. Katie works as a caregiver to Leonard, a wealthy old man who treats her like his own daughter. Adam on the other hand struggles to find a job. One night, after work, Adam rescues a restaurant from a robbery attempt, which ends up being a turning point in their lives.
Four months later, Leonard passes away in his sleep, leaving his entire wealth to Katie, which includes a huge sum of money hidden in a safe at his mansion.
