Synopsis:

Anime Orient (2022) is an action, adventure, and fantasy anime series produced by A.C.G.T and adapted from the manga series written by Shinobu Otaka. The story is set in a war-torn Hinomoto, where demon gods appear and kill all Sengoku commanders. 150 years later, people still stand against the rule of the demon gods and fight for their freedom as Bushidan (Samurai).

Samurai, however, are now being hated and demon gods are worshipped by people who have forgotten about the Bushidan’s great sacrifice for their land. Musashi and Kojiro are childhood friends who make a promise to become Bushidan to restore Hinomoto’s freedom. As they grow older, Kojiro loses faith in the Bushidan. He suffers daily insults from the people around him and despises his own lineage, which is linked to that of the samurai.

Musashi, on the other hand, cannot forsake the dream of becoming a Bushidan and continues to train as a sword fighter. However, he works as a miner for the demon gods, raising funds to buy his own sword. One day, he bravely fights against the demon gods and is saved by Kojiro. Although Kojiro still has doubts about their promise, he still goes to help Musashi.

As large demon gods emerge and attack, Musashi and Kojiro team up with a group of Bushidan that Naotora Takeda, their leader, commands. They defeat the evil Tengu and free the people of Hinomoto. Musashi and Kojiro now journey outside their land, seeking more powerful demon gods and following the Bushidan’s history in search of clues for their journey.
