There is a panel in chapter 1083 where a silhouette of one of the Holy Knights has a striking resemblance to Shanks. With this discovery, fans have started to speculate that Shanks’ past or his family could be revealed soon by Eiichiro Oda, the author of One Piece. In the One Piece story, Shanks is portrayed with a close-up shot of the right side of his head, with no visible scar on the left side of his face.
