Sanji, as a member of the Vinsmoke family in One Piece, has a unique technology called the Raid Suit, which was developed by the Germa 66 Kingdom. This technology has become one of the hallmarks of the Sanji family, and every core member of the Germa 66 Kingdom has a Raid Suit with various special abilities, very similar to Devil Fruits.
Apart from providing physical strength, the Raid Suit also offers various advanced technologies, such as flying shoes. Moreover, the user of the Raid Suit can acquire unique abilities. The Raid Suit Stealth Black, which Sanji uses, gives the cook the ability to disappear like the Devil Fruit called Suke Suke no Mi. This Devil Fruit is the most coveted by Sanji, and he was devastated when he learned that it was already eaten by Absalon.
Unfortunately, although Sanji just got his hands on the Stealth Black on Whole Cake Island, it had a short lifespan. However, in One Piece 1085, there’s a surprise that Sanji uses a Raid Suit again in the battle at Egghead. It’s not the usual black-colored Raid Suit, but a unique blue-colored suit that’s a prototype created by Vegapunk during his collaboration with Vinsmoke Judge.
Even though it looks old-fashioned, the technology from Vegapunk has various abilities that are no less advanced than those of Germa 66. Unlike when Sanji uses the Stealth Black, this time, there’s no inner turmoil when the cook uses the Raid Suit. That’s because the Raid Suit Sanji uses is not Germa 66 technology, which he hates.
Sanji delightedly receives the Raid Suit from Vegapunk as a gift and immediately uses it to assist his captain, Luffy. This Raid Suit will be an additional power for Sanji, who is now considered to be lagging behind Zoro. Of course, Sanji needs a new power to match Zoro, who has already awakened Haoshoku Haki in Wano.
