Sanji, who is believed to be the future king of pirates, possesses incredible fighting skills. His origin as a prince from the Germa Kingdom of Science has contributed significantly to his outstanding capabilities. However, in One Piece 1085, it was revealed that Vinsmoke Sanji is a descendant of one of the Gorosei.
One Piece 1085 finally unveiled the identity of the Gorosei – the elderly members of the World Government with blond hair who founded the Germa Kingdom of Science in the past. Eiichiro Oda, the writer and illustrator, had given hints about the identity of the blond Gorosei before it was revealed.
Various clues given by Eiichiro Oda led to the conclusion that the blond Gorosei was an ancestor of Vinsmoke Sanji, considering the physical characteristics shared by both parties. They share the genetic trait of blond hair, which is unique to the ruling family of Germa Kingdom, Vinsmoke. Moreover, the appearance of the blond Gorosei is strikingly similar to that of Sanji. In addition, the blond Gorosei is the only one of the five elders who appears ageless, which is not surprising given the Germa Kingdom’s reputation for its technological advancements.
According to leaks from Reddit, the blond Gorosei who founded the Germa Kingdom was named Vinsmoke Venus. After being appointed as a Gorosei and making significant contributions to the field of technology to Im Sama, she had to change her name and relinquish her family name to Saint Germain Venus. The title Saint denotes a Gorosei. Sanji’s extraordinary strength was, therefore, not entirely due to genetic modification. The reason why the eyebrows of Saint Venus do not curl like those of Sanji and his father, Judge, is that the genetic modification of Sanji’s lineage factor by Judge involves mixing genes from the most potent races in One Piece. Sanji’s ability to wield fire serves as evidence that his genetic makeup has been infused with King’s genes.
Sanji’s lineage and ancestry have been an exciting topic for One Piece fans, and the revelation in chapter 1085 has only added to their curiosity.
