My Dress-Up Darling Manga and Anime: Aniplex Announces 4.5 Million Copies in Circulation
Aniplex, a production and distribution company for anime, has announced that the manga My Dress-Up Darling by Shinichi Fukuda has circulated 4.5 million copies. This figure shows an increase of over 1 million copies compared to the previous year before the anime adaptation was aired. Square Enix Manga & Books published My Dress-Up Darling in English. My Dress-Up Darling was first published in the Young Gangan Squre Enix magazine in January 2018. Square Enix published the manga’s eighth volume in October 2021 and will release the ninth volume on March 25. Square Enix Manga & Books released the fourth volume in English in June 2021.
For the anime version, fans of My Dress-Up Darling can watch it on Funimation in both Japanese and English. Crunchyroll also streams the anime, albeit only in English. The anime version of My Dress-Up Darling is just as compelling as the manga. In fact, the anime series has consecutively ranked in the top 5 positions on the Anime Corner. In the second week of the Winter season, the anime series was ranked third, followed by ranking fourth in the third week. The anime series currently holds the fifth position, one place lower than before.
In this week’s episode, My Dress-Up Darling anime adaptation will air its fifth episode on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11.30 pm (UTC+7). Episode 5 will adapt manga chapters 11 and 12.
