Momonosuke might be deemed as one of the most useless characters by One Piece fans. However, the young heir to the Wano Shogunate has come a long way since his first appearance in the series. According to SportsKeeda, Momonosuke began to catch fans’ attention as the Wano arc and the Onigashima raid started. His character development has made him a valuable addition to the One Piece cast.

Despite doubts and underestimation from the fans, Momonosuke possesses unique skills that could potentially influence the One Piece world. His possession of a replica of Kaido’s Devil Fruit, for instance, could turn the tides in Wano’s favor. If Kaido is defeated by the end of the arc, Momonosuke’s dragon form could be the island’s powerful protector. Additionally, he has the rare ability called The Voice of All Things, giving him the power to understand and communicate with everything in the world, including inanimate objects like Poneglyphs and animals.

While The Voice of All Things might not be as significant as the Dragon Fruit ability, Momonosuke can direct Zunesha, the elephant that carries the Mink tribe on its back, with his command. With this ability, he can rewrite the fate of the Mokomo dukedom and its inhabitants, including relocating them to a safer place, and potentially freeing Wano from its oppressors.

It’s worth noting that Momonosuke’s character development began in the Wano arc, and his potential is yet to be fully explored. Fans might have underestimated him at first, but he has proven that he is vital in One Piece’s world.
