Katakuri’s Return: One Piece Chapter 1086 Reveals Big Mom’s Son as Captain of New Pirate Crew

Katakuri, one of the sons of former Yonko Big Mom in the One Piece series, is a feared pirate with a bounty of over 1 billion berries. His strength is proportional to his bounty, as he possesses formidable Devil Fruit powers and tremendous Haki abilities. Katakuri’s Mochi Mochi no mi is his Devil Fruit, and he is a master of two types of Haki – Bushosoku Haki and Kenbunshoku Haki.

Although Katakuri previously lost to Luffy during a battle at Big Mom’s base, the latest chapter, 1086, reveals that Katakuri has returned to the story as the captain of a new pirate crew, instead of being a member of Big Mom’s crew. Interestingly, he has chosen a new crew and not any of the other children of Big Mom.

In the recent chapter, Katakuri’s goal is to rescue his sister Pudding, who is held captive by Kurohige on Beehive Island. After rescuing her, Katakuri intends to head to Egghead to join Luffy in a fight against Dewa Nika and witness his power. Despite being the captain of a new pirate crew, it’s essential to note that they are not part of the “Rocky” group, but instead, they are long-time pirates.

Katakuri’s comeback is not only for joining a new pirate crew but also for his future dream of fighting Luffy. He anticipates another encounter with his previous opponent and wishes to battle him again. It remains to be seen what role Katakuri and his new pirate crew will play in the story, but fans are glad to see him again.
