Are you eager to play Diablo IV? The good news is that the open beta is now accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
The Diablo IV open beta just started and will run until March 27th at 3:00 PM ET. Last week, there was an “early access” open beta version for players who had pre-purchased the game. However, now it’s available for everyone to join. Players may experience long queues before entering the game, as warned by Blizzard to avoid surprises.
In the beta version, players can explore the game’s prologue and first act and level up to 25. For the early access beta, players only had access to three classes: Rogue, Barbarian, and Sorcerer. However, with the open beta version, the list includes Druid and Necromancer.
It’s important to note that while story progress will carry over to the actual game after its official release on June 6, 2023, all characters will be deleted. So, don’t get too attached.
To ease the sting, Blizzard will award players who achieve certain accomplishments during the beta version with unique facilities, including cute dog backpacks.
Co-op online and four-player mode will be activated for both weekends, and if players want something big and chunky to take down with friends and family, Blizzard will unleash the world boss, Ashava, at specific times, currently scheduled to appear on March 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and midnight.
Don’t miss the opportunity to join the Diablo IV open beta and get a taste of what’s to come in this highly anticipated game.
