The highly anticipated season finale of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 3 is set to conclude next week. Episode 11 is scheduled to air on June 18th or June 19th for Indonesian viewers. Fans are eagerly waiting for the epic conclusion of Tanjiro and his team’s battle against Upper Moon 4.
In episode 10, which aired on June 12th, the battle between Tanjiro, Genya, Nezuko, and Mitsuri Kanroji against Hantengu, Upper Moon 4 continued. Meanwhile, Muichiro Tokito managed to defeat Gyokko alone in episode 9 but collapsed due to the poison spread by Gyokko.
On the other hand, the battle between Tanjiro, Genya, Nezuko, and Mitsuri still continues. Despite working together and using their full abilities, the four demon slayers are still struggling to defeat Hantengu, who has many forms.
Shortly after the release of episode 10, the official Demon Slayer Twitter account revealed that the series will air its finale episode for 70 minutes. The post also included a special illustration of the main characters of the season, along with Hashira in the background, and Nezuko and Genya in their demon forms. With a fierce look, Tanjiro stands in the middle with his red glowing sword.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 3 centers on the Swordsmith Village arc. The first episode aired for an hour. Meanwhile, the final episode of the season, titled “Bonds”, will air on June 19th with a duration of 70 minutes.
In this season, Tanjiro goes to a secret village to request a new sword from his master swordsmith, Hotaru Haganezuka, as his sword was broken during the battle against Daki and Gyutaro in season 2. Tanjiro knew that Hotaru was upset and refused to send him a new sword, so he decided to bring Nezuko with him to the Swordsmith Village.
There, he meets his fellow demon slayers, Genya Shinazugawa, who turns out to be the younger brother of Hashira Wind, Sanemi Shinazugawa, as well as Hashira Love Mitsuri Kanroji and Hashira Mist Muichiro Tokito. Tanjiro even spends time training with a young swordsmith, Kotetsu. But two Upper Moons interrupt their training time as they attempt to destroy the village.
Produced by Ufotable and directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Akira Matsushima as character designer and chief animation director, Natsuki Hanae voices Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kitou voices Tanjiro’s sister, Nezuko, Nobuhiko Okamoto voices Genya, Kana Hanazawa voices Mitsuri Kanroji, and Kengo Kawanishi voices Muichiro Tokito.
While season 3 is not yet finished, there are rumors that season 4 is currently in production. If true, season 4 may adapt the Hashira Training and Infinity Castle arcs. In the Hashira Training arc, viewers will get to know the Hashira more closely. Meanwhile, the Infinity Castle arc will mark the beginning of the final battle between the demon slayers and Muzan Kibutsuji and his minions. Many emotional events happen in this arc, and it also signifies the end of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
