The latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Part 2 Episode 8 marked a significant turning point for the demon slayers. In Episode 7, the demon slayer group struggled against the level six moon demon Gyutaro and his sister Daki. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were also having a hard time fighting the demons, with the added challenge of Nezuko’s bloodthirsty desire.

Episode 7 began with the fight between Izui Tengen and Gyutaro. Gyutaro’s lightning-fast speed was too much for Izui Tengen, who ended up getting poisoned. Although Izui claimed to be a descendant of Shinobu and immune to poison, the poison ultimately affected his movements. The poison concocted by Gyutaro was extremely dangerous and lethal for ordinary individuals or those with low abilities. However, the poison slows down its action when it affects someone like Izui.

Gyutaro was even surprised at how Izui could still fight at such a high speed, even after getting poisoned. Izui realized that the poison would take some time to work in his body, causing him to doubt his ability to defeat Gyutaro. Nevertheless, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tanjiro came and boosted Izui’s morale. Zenitsu and Inosuke fought against Daki, while Izui and Tanjiro fought against Gyutaro.

Although the poison affected Izui’s movements, he could still dodge Gyutaro’s attacks. Meanwhile, Tanjiro, who was fighting on the lower floor, was also hit by Daki’s attack from the roof, where Zenitsu and Inosuke battled.

To kill the sixth level moon demon Gyutaro and Daki, the two must have their necks cut at the same time. This explains why Daki did not die despite having her neck cut by Izui.

When Tanjiro was recovering, Izui Tengen faced Gyutaro alone. Then when Izui reached his limit, his wives came to his aid by throwing kunai from above. To counter the incoming kunai, Gyutaro used his Blood Demon Art – Rampaging Arc. Unfortunately, Gyutaro failed to predict Izui’s move and was hit instead. Izui successfully sliced Gyutaro’s leg, subsequently causing him to be cornered by the Sound Pillar’s attack.

At the same time, Tanjiro charged and struck Gyutaro’s neck with his sword, severing it. However, the question remains: did Gyutaro die? Not necessarily, because both he and Daki must die together. On the other hand, Izui Tengen was also dying from poison. So, can he still survive, an answer that we will see in the upcoming episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba.

In conclusion, if you’re a fan of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the Season 2 Part 2 Episode 8 is an action-packed episode that you shouldn’t miss! The fascinating battle between demon slayers and demons, combined with Blood Demon Arts, will keep you on the edge of your seat.
