Characters Who Came Back to Life in Naruto Without Edo Tensei

Posted on

In the world of Naruto, there is a technique for reviving the dead called Edo Tensei. However, there have been instances in the series where characters who were shown dead came back to life without the use of this technique. Here’s a list of some of these characters:

1. Gaara – Gaara is one of the characters who was brought back to life after dying. When Shukaku was extracted from his body, Gaara automatically weakened and died. Nenek Chiyo used the Kisho Tensei technique to exchange her life energy or chakra for Gaara’s, thus bringing him back to life temporarily while Chiyo died.

2. Kakashi Hatake – During the invasion of Pain in Konoha, Kakashi was one of the two well-known characters who died from exhaustion after fighting against Pain. He entered Naraka and met Sakumo, who had been waiting for him to apologize. After Nagato was lectured by Naruto, he used the power of the Naraka Path to perform the King of Hell technique, which allowed the souls he had killed to come back to life, including Kakashi.

3. Shizune – Shizune was one of the well-known characters who died during the invasion of Pain. She was the first person (aside from Jiraiya) to discover the secret of the black rod in Pain’s body, which was to transmit chakra from its original source, allowing all of the Pains to communicate with one another. Unfortunately, she was stopped by the Human Path, who read her mind and found out Naruto’s location in Mount Myƍboku. The Path then took Shizune’s soul, killing her instantly. Like Kakashi, Shizune was brought back to life using Nagato’s technique.

4. Orochimaru – Orochimaru, who cannot die unless all of his cursed seal users die and he has no other body to transfer to, was technically dead when Sasuke killed his main body. However, he came back to life after being released from Sasuke’s curse seal by Itachi. Later on, Orochimaru was released again, this time by Anko, and moved into the body of White Zetsu, whose body had the best quality because of Hashirama’s cells.

5. Ao – Ao was supposed to be dead after the Fourth Great Ninja War, as the Juubi’s attack on the Ninja Alliance headquarters was fatal and should have killed him. However, he somehow returned in Boruto and became a part of Kara with a cyborg body. It’s interesting to note that Kashin Koji is a clone of Jiraiya, so there is a possibility that the Ao in Boruto is also a clone rather than the original.

6. Hagoromo – Hagoromo had already died and left his physical body behind, but he never really died because his soul remained in the world, monitoring it after his death. Spiritually visible, he could reappear in the human world, interact with the living, and even perform some techniques.

These are some of the characters who came back to life in Naruto without the use of Edo Tensei. If you know of any other character who fits this description, feel free to leave a comment below.
