The highly anticipated anime series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, will soon be airing its 293rd episode on Sunday, March 25, 2023. This episode will mark the end of the first part of the Boruto anime series, after which it will go on hiatus for an unspecified amount of time.
Titled “Farewell,” episode 293 will revolve around the dying Boruto as he is attacked by Kawaki. The latter wants to protect his adoptive father, Naruto, from Boruto’s possessed state by Momoshiki. Kawaki’s anger triggers the activation of his Karman power, which grants him the same strength as Momoshiki. This ultimately leads to an inevitable showdown between Kawaki and Boruto, both possessing the Otsutsuki clan’s powers.
Prior to their battle, Kawaki reminds Boruto and everyone else that he once promised to be the one to kill Boruto if Momoshiki were to take over Boruto’s body. However, his actions and motives are based on his excessive love for his adoptive father, Naruto. When Boruto, under the influence of Momoshiki, intends to kill Code, Naruto and Shikamaru arrive just in time to interrupt him. In the process, Momoshiki in Boruto’s body attempts to kill Naruto, which causes Kawaki to activate his Karman power once more, giving in to an act of revenge for Naruto’s sake.
Code is astonished by Kawaki’s sudden return to power, but Aida explains to him that it is all an act of Amado, whose true motives are still unknown. Kawaki’s immense power and ability to fight off a dying Boruto and Momoshiki surprise not only Code and Aida, but also Naruto and Shikamaru. Kawaki’s dilemma arises from his need to protect Naruto, yet he must also kill Naruto’s own biological son, who will inevitably gain protection from the people of the Hidden Leaf Village.
In conclusion, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, episode 293, marks the end of the first part of this highly engaging anime series. In addition, Kawaki’s Karman activation and its consequences have made for an intriguing storyline that’s sure to impress die-hard anime fans.
