In One Piece 1081, the much-awaited character finally makes an appearance. Bogard, known as the mysterious expert swordsman, is the right-hand man of Monkey D Garp. His presence on Hachinosu makes the Kurohige troops shudder because the aura he emanates leaves the island’s inhabitants stunned. According to the spoilers received by Teras our site, Bogard had already been on Hachinosu in the previous chapter (1080), along with Garp and SWORD. So, where was Bogard? Why is he only now being introduced?

Bogard was on a special mission, sabotaging Kurohige’s Saber of Xebec ship, according to the spoilers. The right-hand man of Garp destroyed the controls and machine on the enemy’s ship, as planned during the operation to save Koby in Hachinosu. As is the case with Bogard, who had a specific task, so too did the SWORD members. Pangeran Grus was responsible for creating chaos in the center field of Hachinosu. He had the ability to create golems from clay, rendering Kurihige’s army’s weapons and swords useless. Pangeran Grus’s main task was to cause a diversion in the center of Hachinosu, throwing the island’s defense into disarray.

Meanwhile, Laksamana Muda Kujaku was assigned to block the enemy’s every move. With the Devil Fruit power Muchi Muchi no Mi, Kujaku could control anything hit by his whip. Kujaku intentionally formed the buildings in Hachinosu into barricade angles to block Kurohige’s troops’ escape routes. Moreover, Kujaku’s power can also be used on living creatures like humans. On the other hand, the youngest member of SWORD, Commander Hibari, was tasked with disabling the enemy’s weapons and swords. Using the GP-Flower Bullet bullet made by Dr. Vegapunk, Hibari confused the enemy’s troops. In One Piece 1080, Hibari was seen with a long-range weapon, aiming like a sniper.

Bogard has now arrived at the enemy’s headquarters, where Ten Titanic Captains await him, according to the plan. When he reached Kurohige’s central base, he faced Shiryu and Avalo Pizarro; both were quickly defeated by Bogard’s terrifying sword technique. Even though Shiryu was known as the unseen swordsman, he could not match Bogard’s swordsmanship. Afterward, Bogard defeated all of Kurohige’s Ten Titanic Captains in succession, even slaughtering 5000 of Kurohige’s crew who tried to stop him.

Bogard then moves on to find Garp ‘By One’ with Kurohige. He witnesses the battle between his superior and Kurohige. He quietly watches his boss in action, withholding from intervening. In the fight, it is clear that the Vice Admiral outmatches Kurohige. Although Kurohige loses in the mechanized battle against Garp, Garp is ultimately overwhelmed after his energy is depleted by age. Kurohige even used the power of his Devil Fruit once again, causing Garp to be even more beaten. Finally, Bogard steps up to assist Garp by using the final sword technique to slice Kurohige’s body. From the appearance of the illustration in One Piece 1081 received by Teras our site, Bogard’s sword technique is similar to Zoro’s three-sword style, particularly Ashura. It begs the question of where Bogard learned this technique and what his relationship is with Zoro.

In conclusion, One Piece 1081 is a must-read due to its engaging plot and the emergence of Bogard, the mysterious swordsman with extraordinary skills. The scene between Garp and Kurohige is also a highlight of the chapter. Fans cannot wait to see the official release of One Piece 1081 and find out the truth behind Bogard’s relationship with Zoro and his fantastic sword techniques.
