The Gorosei, represented by Saturn, is heading to Egghead Island to annihilate Vegapunk. Some fans of One Piece have assumed that the island will be destroyed like Ohara. It is evident that the Gorosei indeed intends to destroy Egghead Island, as seen by their mobilization of all the World Government military power, from Cipher Pol agents to the Navy, including the Admiral. Unfortunately, the planned destruction of Egghead Island by the Gorosei, represented by Saturn, seems unlikely to go smoothly due to a significant obstacle, the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Luffy’s arrival on Egghead Island was a coincidence, where he accidentally met Vegapunk and decided to take the scientist out of the island. The arrival of Luffy and all the Straw Hat Pirates on Egghead Island is a significant threat, as the pirate group has previously defeated Kaido and almost all the Beasts Pirates. Not only that, Luffy has been appointed as a Yonkou, so attacking him requires agreement or orders from the top leaders and rulers of the One Piece World like the Gorosei.
Not only the Gorosei with their Navy armada, but the Kurohige Pirates are also starting to approach Egghead Island and presumably aim to target Luffy and seize a copy of the road poneglyph. The gathering of pirates from both sides, accompanied by all the military power from the World Government, is highly likely to trigger a massive war, as revealed by Eiichiro Oda in Jump Festa 2023, known as the Battle Royal. Therefore, the massive pirate fleet led by the Straw Hat Pirates won’t allow Luffy and his crew alone to fight against the World Government.
Although Luffy is assisted by several Pacifistas created by Vegapunk, he is not easy to be defeated, thanks to his strength and Dewa Nika power. Previously, there was a theory from One Piece fans that the massive fleet of the Straw Hat Pirates would come to Wano to help Luffy, which may come true in the battle on Egghead Island. Luffy will face off strong characters from the Navy, including one of the Gorosei, and the arrival of some of the crews from the Kurohige Pirates. Thus, the massive fleet of the Straw Hat Pirates’ assistance will significantly reduce Luffy’s burden in facing all the strong characters in One Piece, such as Admiral Kizaru or even Marshall D Teach.
After the end of the Dressrosa Arc, the massive fleet of the Straw Hat Pirates, consisting of approximately 5,600 members, vowed to help each other in case of difficulty, including in warfare against the World Government. Hence, the collaboration of the Straw Hat Pirates’ massive fleet will surely create a challenging battle royal against the World Government and the Kurohige Pirates on Egghead Island.
