Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Arc Swordsmith Village is bringing new challenges for Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya as they face off against the demon moons. Two Hashira will be joining them in the upcoming season, where they will fight against the powerful enemies. In the previous season, Rengoku was defeated, and Uzui was injured, leading him to retire. Many believed that the demon slayers would face extreme difficulties in fighting higher-level enemies.
However, it turns out that the demon moons, Hantengu and Gyokko, ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, would be the ones to suffer defeat. None of the main characters, including Tanjiro and the Hashira, died. Gyokko will meet his demise at the hands of Hashira Muichiro Tokito, and Hantengu will meet his fate at Tanjiro’s hands. Initially, they fought in different places until they ended up in the village. Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji protected the villagers from the demons’ evils.
It turns out that Gyokko’s strength was surpassed by Tokito, causing him to lose hope. Various efforts were made to defeat Tokito but to no avail. Instead, Tokito resurrected the demon slayer mark. Determined not to lose, Gyokko continued his attacks but always got blocked by Tokito. After that, Gyokko finally changed into his original form. The fight between Gyokko and Tokito ended with Gyokko’s head being severed.
On the other hand, Tanjiro and his team are still fighting against Hantengu. Hantengu, with his demonic mouth, claims that Tanjiro and the demon slayer group are evil and want to kill him. However, Hantengu’s efforts to distract Tanjiro proved to be futile. Tanjiro was not affected at all and even promised to behead Hantengu.
A few moments later, Tanjiro kept his promise and used Hinokami Kagura to behead Hantengu. Unfortunately, the head he severed was not Hantengu’s actual head. Realizing this, Tanjiro continued to pursue the headless body. In the end, Tanjiro found Hantengu’s real body within his headless body.
