In the latest One Piece special published in Shonen Jump, the creator unveiled a new costume for Sanji – the chef of the Straw Hat Pirates. The blue suit with a matching white color is a modern costume created by the renowned scientist, Vegapunk.
The new costume is not just for show; it has a significant role in the upcoming Arc Egghead, which sets the stage for the Final Saga. According to Oda, some of the characters such as Monkey D Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, and Vinsmoke Sanji will experience a ‘buff’ in their abilities. Sanji’s new costume designed by Vegapunk will allow him to unleash the full potential of his powers.
One of Sanji’s powerful techniques is Diable Jambe. It is a move where Sanji rotates his leg rapidly, igniting flames on his leg, or a devil-like symbol. This technique was first introduced in the Enies Lobby Arc when Sanji fought against Jabra, the third-strongest member of the CP9.
Initially, Diable Jambe was just a technique that ignited flames and heated Sanji’s kicks. However, after two years of training and mastering Haki, Sanji enhanced the technique to become Ifrit Jambe, a move that can quickly defeat his enemies.
