Sinopsis

The movie revolves around Josh Kovaks, the manager of The Tower, who entrusted his employees’ retirement money to Arthur Shaw, a billionaire who lives in the same apartment complex. However, Shaw is later arrested by the FBI after being accused of running a Ponzi scheme that involved embezzling $2 billion. FBI agent Claire Denham informs Josh that Shaw has hidden $20 million that is yet to be discovered, possibly stashed away in his apartment.

Feeling the weight of the stolen money on his conscience, Josh teams up with some of his colleagues, including his brother-in-law, a porter named Charlie, and a lift operator named Enrique, to orchestrate a robbery of the billionaire’s apartment. They recruit Fitzhugh, the smartest resident of The Tower, and Slide, a childhood friend with some criminal connections.

With additional help from Odessa Montero, a talented safe-cracker, the group plans to execute the heist on Thanksgiving Day, during the annual parade in New York City, to minimize attention. However, as they break into Shaw’s apartment, Slide tries to double-cross the crew after stealing Odessa’s safe-cracking equipment. This leads to a commotion that ends up revealing that the billionaire’s vault is empty.
