The Shocking Death of King Cobra: The Most Memorable Moment in One Piece’s Reverie

The most talked-about and exciting moment during the latest Reverie in the One Piece universe was the murder of King Cobra or Nefertari Cobra. The five elders of Gorosei led the Reverie, and it shook the entire One Piece world to the core. This year’s Reverie was filled with significant incidents, including a war in the Holy Land of Mary Geoise. However, the most significant highlight from all the chaos and drama at Reverie was the strange death of King Cobra. As seen in One Piece 1084, the five elders of Gorosei were the last ones seen meeting with Cobra, leading to strong suspicion of their involvement in his death.

In the recent Spoiler One Piece 1085, we witnessed the moment Gorosei killed King Cobra in the Empty Throne room. Cobra was a popular and well-known character, especially among One Piece fans, after the events of Arabasta. His death remains a mystery to date, but the reason for his murder was finally revealed in the latest One Piece chapter.

King Cobra was introduced during the Arabasta Arc as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Crocodile created chaos in Arabasta from behind the scenes, and King Cobra was blamed for everything. The potential for civil war was high, and Vivi played a significant part when she infiltrated Baroque Works, an organization led by Warlord of the Sea, Sir Crocodile. There, Vivi met the Straw Hat Pirates and brought them with her to her country. Eventually, the Straw Hat Pirates defeated Crocodile, and Arabasta was restored to its former glory. Cobra was the center of the Arabasta Arc’s entire story, and fans were shown how devoted and fair he was as a king. Few rulers in the entire One Piece universe could be called truly worthy of being a king, and Cobra was undoubtedly one of them. In fact, even Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, believed that King Cobra was one of the kind-hearted leaders, and his dedication to his people was unmatched. King Cobra even protected the Straw Hat Pirates and rewarded them with a party.

After the Arabasta Arc ended, fans barely saw Cobra in the story, and suddenly it was reported that he had died. Fans caught a glimpse of King Cobra one last time, and he decided that this year’s Reverie would be particularly important for him and his country in Arabasta. Cobra revealed that he had some intriguing questions for the Five Elders of Gorosei. King Cobra wanted to discuss the previous kings of Arabasta, including Queen Lily, the ancestor of the Nefertari family.

Cobra’s real intention at Reverie was to meet with the Five Elders or Gorosei, and he managed to do so, but his Royal Guards, Pell, and Chaka, were not allowed. Instead, they were ordered to guard Princess Vivi. Once he met with the Gorosei, Cobra revealed that he had studied the ancient texts of his country and explored them. Years ago, King Cobra discovered that shortly after the formation of the World Government, 20 rulers laid down their weapons in front of the Empty Throne to signify their equality. They did this to show that the world had no true ruler and that they were all equal. Arabasta, which was allied with the World Government, was also part of the Twenty Founders who were responsible for fighting against the Ancient Kingdom and establishing the World Government. Most of the Nefertari family decided to move to Mary Giose and live their lives as Celestial Dragons. They then assigned a new royal family for their kingdom and erased their records to ensure a smooth transition of power. However, one king did not want to become a Celestial Dragon and instead returned to his country to continue his duty to the people. This person was none other than Queen Lily, Arabasta’s queen at the time. Lily decided that her country needed her, and instead of becoming a Celestial Dragon, she stepped down from Marijoa and returned to her country. However, from this point on, all records of Queen Lily were missing. Instead, it was revealed that her brother took the position of Arabasta’s king. This made Cobra conclude that Queen Lily had some accident on the way home, which led him to demand an explanation from the Five Elders. He wanted to know what happened to Queen Lily at that time. Sadly, the Gorosei pretended not to know and did not give him any answers.

King Cobra then asked the Five Elders about people with the initial ‘D.’ According to him, Queen Lily had written a letter that was passed down within the Nefertari royal family from one generation to another. This letter had something to do with the people with the initial D, and it made Cobra curious. This question shocked the Five Elders, and they became angry. At the same time, Im Sama, the world ruler, entered and witnessed the event. Im Sama sat on the throne and surprisingly mentioned the name Queen Lily, indicating that they knew what happened to her. Fans were previously confused why King Cobra was the target of the Five Elders. However, with all these revelations, it’s easy to understand why he was killed. The first reason is that the Nefertari family was considered traitors by the Five Elders.
