The Seven Strongest One Piece Characters with Weak Devil Fruits

As a One Piece fan, you surely know that Devil Fruits are some of the most powerful treasures in the universe. Lately, these fruits caused a stir in the One Piece world after the death of Nefertari Cobra, which revealed the Mythical Zoan of the Gorosei elders. These fruits are categorized into three types: Zoan, Paramecia, and Logia. They grant unique abilities to their users and make them stronger than ordinary humans.

However, not all Devil Fruits are equally potent. Some characters in One Piece have weak Devil Fruits, but that doesn’t stop them from being some of the strongest characters in the series. Here are the seven characters with weak Devil Fruits who managed to become powerful:

7. Charlotte Katakuri – Katakuri is a commander in Big Mom’s pirate crew. His Devil Fruit ability, the Mochi Mochi no Mi, allows him to control mochi. It’s considered one of the weakest Devil Fruits, but Katakuri has managed to master its power. He’s now the second strongest member of Big Mom’s crew, and it took Luffy a considerable effort to defeat him.

6. Killer – Killer initially didn’t have a Devil Fruit power, but after being captured along with his captain, Kid, he was forced by Kaido to consume a Devil Fruit. To his misfortune, the fruit only gave him the ability to laugh. Despite this, Killer trained hard and became a valuable asset to Kid’s crew.

5. Ivankov – Introduced during the Impel Down arc, Ivankov is a commander in the Revolutionary Army and a friend of Monkey D. Dragon, Luffy’s father. His Devil Fruit power, the Horu Horu no Mi, doesn’t grant him combat abilities. Instead, it allows him to manipulate hormones. Despite having a weak Devil Fruit, Ivankov has become a valuable member of the Revolutionary Army.

4. Nico Robin – Robin is an archaeologist in the Straw Hat Pirates and the user of the Hana Hana no Mi Devil Fruit. This Paramecia Fruit allows her to sprout body parts on any surface. However, damaging them also damages her real body. While this power enables her to kill weak enemies easily, it’s not very useful against strong foes.

3. Chiper Pol Kaku – Kaku is a user of the Ushi Ushi no Mi, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that grants him the ability to turn into a giraffe. However, this makes him vulnerable due to his long neck. Through hard work and mastery of the Six Powers (Rokushiki), he was able to utilize his Devil Fruit to the fullest.

2. Brook – Brook’s Devil Fruit, the Yomi Yomi no Mi, only allows him to come back to life after dying. Initially, it didn’t grant him any combat ability. After a challenging training session during the time skip, Brook unlocked new abilities and became an essential asset to Luffy and his crew.

1. Charlotte Cracker – The leader of the Big Mom Pirates’ Biscuit Soldiers and Katakuri’s younger brother, Cracker’s Bisu Bisu no Mi Devil Fruit only allows him to make and control biscuits. Despite its apparent weakness, Cracker managed to create clones of biscuits that overwhelmed Luffy in their battle.

In conclusion, the strength of a character in One Piece doesn’t always depend on the power of their Devil Fruit. These seven characters have beaten formidable foes and become some of the strongest characters in One Piece, despite their weak Devil Fruits.
