Akatsuki, the infamous organization in the anime Naruto, has captured the attention of fans worldwide. Consisting of rogue ninjas from various villages, the group’s main mission is to hunt down Jinchuriki and retrieve the powerful Bijuu within them. But how did Akatsuki come to be? And how did they evolve from fighting oppression and tyranny to pursuing world domination under the influence of Obito?

Akatsuki was initially formed by Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan in the hopes of creating a world free from oppression in their home village, Amegakure. The organization gained attention from Hanzo, the leader of Amegakure, but unfortunately, he betrayed them later on. This betrayal led Nagato to witness the death of his dear friend, Yahiko, which awakened the Rinnegan within him. Nagato then used Yahiko’s corpse as the vessel known as ‘Pain’ and assumed leadership of Akatsuki.

After the Third Shinobi World War, Akatsuki transitioned from a group aiming for peace to a mercenary organization. They recruited skilled ninja who had betrayed their villages, adding them to their ranks. Akatsuki members became known for their distinct attire, wearing black cloaks adorned with red cloud motifs and straw hats. Each member also donned a unique ring, symbolizing their affiliation with the group.

Initially, Akatsuki’s goal was to create peace. However, under Obito’s leadership, their objectives shifted towards world domination. Obito orchestrated a plan to seek out Jinchuriki and capture the powerful Bijuu sealed within them. This plan aligned with Nagato’s desire to establish his own brand of peace, rooted in fear and obedience. The goals of Nagato and Obito differed, but their collaboration allowed Akatsuki to pursue their ambitions.

Unbeknownst to some members, Akatsuki’s ultimate plan was heavily influenced by Zetsu Hitam, a mysterious entity tied to the Shinobi history. Zetsu sought to resurrect Kaguya Otsutsuki, a deity-like figure of immense power. This revelation added another layer to Akatsuki’s dark intentions, pushing them further away from their original objective of peace.

Akatsuki served as a hired force for many ninja villages, excluding Kumogakure. Their reputation as skilled mercenaries granted them opportunities to work alongside different villages for a price. However, their true nature as a tool for Obito’s plans ultimately caused their original objectives to be abandoned.

In conclusion, the tale of Akatsuki paints a vivid picture of a transformation from a group fighting for peace to one pursuing world domination. Their evolution under the leadership of Obito reshaped their goals and forever altered their path. As fans of the Naruto series, we are left captivated by the rise and fall of Akatsuki and the intricate web of motivations that drove its members.
