The Dark Future of Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen

Megumi Fushiguro’s future in Jujutsu Kaisen seems bleak in the recent chapters of the manga. He faces one of the most shocking twists yet, which affects Yuji Itadori, the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen.

In chapter 211, Megumi meets his step-sister, Tsumiki, but the meeting does not go as expected. In chapter 212, Megumi realizes that the person in front of him is not Tsumiki, but Yorozu, a reincarnated ancient sorcerer. Yorozu introduces a new condition in the Culling Game, where players can freely enter and exit the colony, but it comes with a significant consequence.

However, before Megumi and Yuji can do anything, a significant twist occurs. Sukuna, who inhabited Yuji’s body, unexpectedly transfers to Megumi’s body through Shibari, ensuring that he can take control of Megumi’s body for one minute.

In chapter 213, it is revealed that Sukuna was after Megumi’s cursed technique, the Ten Shadows Technique. However, Megumi is not a perfect vessel for Sukuna and is no more than just a cage like Yuji. Sukuna waits for Megumi’s soul to break and summons Nue, which is notably different from Megumi’s version due to Sukuna’s strength.

Fans start to worry about Megumi’s fate as he appears to be a potential victim of Sukuna’s actions. Though it is yet to be confirmed whether Megumi is dead or alive, Sukuna takes control of his body, making Sukuna and Satoru Gojo’s highly-anticipated fight against each other ironic.

Before the fight can happen, Yuji and his friends must find a way to free Satoru Gojo, who is still stuck in the Prison Realm, and deal with Kenjaku, who continues to threaten them. The future may be grim for Megumi, but Jujutsu Kaisen fans eagerly await the upcoming chapters!
