On the night of the dinner, each guest promises to die together at Simon and Nell’s house, and the children join them too. However, Arthur refuses to take the pills, causing tension and chaos among the friends and family. The guests express their grievances towards each other, and Arthur’s protest creates more tension at the dinner table.
