Viking Wolf, or in its original title Vikingulven, is a horror monster film produced in Norway by Stig Svendsen. The movie, which was internationally released on Netflix on February 3, 2023, takes place in the quiet and small town of Nybo in Norway that suddenly becomes tense due to a brutal murder that takes the daughter of the town’s mayor as a victim. The police investigation leads to a theory about the existence of a werewolf living in the forest and preying on the town.The Deputy Sheriff’s daughter, who was a witness to the first event, changes into the figure of the mythological creature without anyone noticing. Synopsis

It all started at a party near the forest by the bay where Jonas and Elin were talking near the dam when a mysterious figure attacked them and kidnapped Elin. Thale, the Deputy Sheriff’s daughter, who was also wounded in the attack, witnessed the incident.The police launched an investigation and interviewed all the teenagers who were present at the party, but they were unable to find any clues. A few days later, Elin’s body is found in the middle of the forest, and the forensic team says that she was attacked by a wild predator animal, but they cannot identify the exact animal. Liv Berg, the Deputy Sheriff and Thale’s mother, is advised to contact William, an animal expert, by the forensic team.William arrives quickly after obtaining permission from the university where he teaches. Liv receives a visit from an old man named Lars Brodin, who informs her that they are dealing with a lycanthrope, one of the types of werewolves. Who is responsible for the brutal death of Elin, and what other secrets does Nybo forest hide?
