At the Jump Fiesta 2023 event, Oda revealed that one of the major characters in One Piece will die. Trafalgar D. Water Law, the captain of the Heart Pirates, is the main candidate, given the fierce battle he is currently fighting against Blackbeard. This speculation is fueled by the fact that Blackbeard is known to be cunning, strong, and greedy, which makes him a formidable opponent. However, it is still uncertain who will die.
Meanwhile, in the Super Stage One Piece event, attendees were treated to a panel from chapter 1.070, which depicted Luffy punching Lucci with his elongated arm, creating a peanut-shaped effect on Lucci’s stomach. Two other panels showed Luffy in his new form, Gear 5 or Nika mode, moving backward to gain the perfect distance to execute his Gomu Gomu punch.
