Rob Lucci swears loyalty to Monkey D. Luffy and becomes a member of the Armada Besar Topi Jerami, after being accused of treachery by the World Government. Following his actions obeying the Gorosei’s orders, Rob Lucci is now a wanted fugitive.
In the latest One Piece chapter, shocking events have taken place on Egghead Island. According to spoilers from One Piece 1085, the buster call has finally reached the island, bringing chaos and destruction with it.
The members of CP0, including Rob Lucci, Kaku, and Stussy, have all been officially dismissed from their positions and marked as fugitives by the World Government. Even Admiral Kizaru and Gorosei Saturn are surprised to see these agents of the government working together with Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew.
Rob Lucci is caught working with Luffy and realizes that he has been betrayed by the government. As a direct subordinate of Gorosei, he knows full well the strength of the elders. He offers to join Luffy’s crew if he helps him escape Egghead Island.
Initially hesitant, Luffy agrees to help Rob Lucci escape in exchange for his loyalty. Rob Lucci declares himself as the captain of Luffy’s eighth pirate crew and surprises Luffy’s crew with his decision.
