As a 24-year-old female college student who’s a fan of One Piece, it’s exciting to learn about the powers of Gorosei in the latest chapter. Eiichiro Oda has teased us with the five elders’ appearance for years, but the most recent chapter has our siteally given us a glimpse of their strength. Here are the three powers of Gorosei that have been revealed so far:
1. Transformation – In Chapter 1085, Sabo tries to attack the Gorosei, but they transform into mythical zoans or beasts to defend themselves. Although the elders’ transformation is still presented as silhouettes, we can see from the outline that these creatures resemble a mix of birds, elephants, wild boars, and bulls.
2. Weaponry – During Sabo’s infiltration of the castle to rescue Cobra, the Gorosei showed their proficiency in different weapons. Unfortunately, we didn’t learn which tools they use since the scene cuts off before the fight starts.
3. Warrior God Title – In Chapter 1086, it was revealed that the Gorosei have the title of “Warrior God.” This enforces the idea that they are capable fighters, unlike the Celestial Dragons, who rely on their social status and slaves to get what they want.
It’s intriguing to see how Oda-sensei has built up Gorosei’s mystique throughout the series, and I’m thrilled to see their power our siteally come into play. As a fan of the series for years, it’s exciting to learn about new characters, new powers, and new lore in One Piece. I can’t wait to see what other revelations await us in the future chapters.
