PUBG Mobile has officially announced all the details needed for fans and players for the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2023. These details are being powered by Gamers8, the world’s largest gaming and esports festival.

The tournament will consist of 18 teams that will participate in the first stage of the competition, the PMWI Allstars Stage, from July 11 to July 13. These teams will be selected through fan voting and direct invitations. Then, from July 14 to July 16, the PMWI Main Tournament will begin, featuring 16 participating teams. These teams will be the ones who have qualified from their respective regional championships, the top five teams from the PMWI Allstars Stage, plus a few directly invited teams.

With a total prize pool of USD 3,000,000 or equivalent to IDR 44.6 billion, the PMWI is an event not to be missed! The action for PMWI 2023 will begin on July 11th with the PMWI Allstars stage, where the 18 most popular teams in the world will compete against each other in three days of intense competition. Fourteen teams will be selected to move on through the PMWI Allstars Vote, which will be held in the game from May 26 to May 30, and more information will be announced soon.

Each of these teams will be joined by four teams invited by PUBG Mobile, one from South Korea, one from Japan, one from Saudi Arabia, and one special invitation. In addition to competing for glory, the top five teams from the Allstars Stage will also advance to the next stage, the PMWI Main Tournament.

Taking place from July 14 to July 16, the PMWI Main Tournament will see each of the four regional PMPL champions and the top two PMSL SEA teams compete against the top five PMWI teams. In this thrilling summer competition between the most successful and popular teams in PUBG Mobile Esports, each team will compete to become the PMWI champion and win the majority of the total prize pool of USD 3,000,000.

The PMWI 2023 is supported by Gamers8. Based in Riyadh and being the world’s largest esports and gaming festival, Gamers8 covers a total of eight weeks from July to September 2023. The festival has a total prize pool of USD 45,000,000, played in more than 11 types of games and 300+ tournaments, and will bring, among others, performances from global music artists, as well as exciting experiences from fans’ favorite esports teams.
