Recap of Episode 1054
The previous episode, titled ‘Death for Your Friend! Killer’s Life-Risking Move’, revolved around Killer and Hawkins. In this installment, Killer had to risk his own life to save his comrade, Kid, from Hawkins. The two had a fierce battle in which Hawkins cheated by threatening to harm Kid, forcing Killer to stop attacking. However, Hawkins managed to hurt Killer from both left and right sides, while Kid was unable to retaliate. Eventually, Killer employed a clever strategy by hurting himself to defeat Hawkins. The fight was won by Killer, and Kid declared that he would become the pirate king.

According to Otakuk Art, the upcoming episode, titled ‘The Shadow Figure Pulls the Strings! Onigashima Burns Down’, will focus on the revival of the Kurozumi clan, including Orochi and Kanjuro. Kanjuro intends to carry out his final mission, which is to do something bad to the Kozuki Samurai group from the Kozuki clan, by setting Onigashima on fire. Will he be able to complete his last mission, and will Onigashima burn down under his hands? Fans of One Piece will have to watch the next episode to find out.
