In the latest One Piece chapter, Eiichiro Oda introduced a new surprise, the appearance of the new character Holy Knight, related to Shanks. Some One Piece fans may not believe it, but chapter 1083 provided the possibility that Shanks’ father would finally be revealed. A fan-shared image shows one of the Holy Knights who has a silhouette similar to Shanks’ in chapter 1083. Is it possible that Shanks’ family or past will soon be revealed by Eiichiro Oda? This theory has become popular within the community due to the details presented in One Piece 1083.
Shanks is depicted in One Piece with a close-up shot of the right side of his head, and there is no sign of the large scar on the left side of his face visible. This seems strange considering that in chapter 434, when Shanks met Shirohige, there was a panel where he was drawn with the same exact right side, but the scar on his left side was clearly visible.
In the One Piece Chapter 875 cover story where Bartolomeo burns the Red Hair Pirate flag, FGans One Piece reported to Eiichiro Oda that when he saw the Jolly Roger on Shanks’ flag, the skull’s mouth was not open. Admittedly, all these details may be nothing more than minor drawing mistakes. One Piece author, Eiichiro Oda, stated that he sometimes forgets to draw scars and other details. The panel has been corrected with the release of volume 90.
Based on some assumptions, it is continuously claimed that there are two Shanks or is it possible that Holy Knight is his father? Thus, many One Piece fans have started to suggest that this person could be Shanks himself, his doppelganger, or his father. Chapter 1083 of One Piece may have only hinted at the possibility, but fans eagerly await further revelations in the future. Stay tuned for more exciting One Piece updates!
