The latest episode of One Piece anime, episode 1052, features the nearing end of the conflict between Monkey D. Luffy and Kaido in the Wanokuni arc, which has been one of the lengthiest arcs in the series with an epic battle that involves multiple parties. As per the manga, One Piece’s episode 1058 of the anime series will start the new arc called the “New Emperor”, which continues the story of the Straw Hat Pirates after their victory in Wanokuni.
After every successful battle, each member of the Straw Hat crew gets a bounty increase. In the intense battle at Onigashima, which left the crew exhausted, they have managed to top their previous bounties. However, Luffy’s bounty still remains the highest among all the members of the crew. Following the battle, Luffy’s bounty has increased from 1.5 Billion to 3 Billion berries, alongside Law and Kid who also helped defeat Kaido and Big Mom.
Luffy, Kid, and Law have received a new position as the “New Emperor”. Roronoa Zoro, who successfully defeated King, has seen an increase in his bounty, which is now at 1.111 Billion berries. Sanji who successfully defeated Queen, has seen his bounty rise to 1.032 Billion berries.
Another member of the Straw Hat crew who has received a significant increase in bounty is Chopper. He has increased a staggering 1000% percent from his initial bounty of 100 berries, now totaling 1,000 berries. This increase is due to Chopper’s creation of a vaccine to counteract the virus created by Queen.
The rest of the crew have also received an increase in their bounty prices. Nico Robin’s bounty has gone from 130 Million berries to 930 Million berries, this is likely due to her rare ability to read Poneglyph. Nami, Brook, Usopp, and Franky have each seen their bounty increase by approximately 300 Million berries. Nami has a bounty of 266 Million, Brook has 383 Million, Franky has 394 Million, and Usopp’s bounty has reached 500 Million berries.
Overall, the Straw Hat crew has received an increase in bounty prices post their win in the Onigashima battle. The new titles received by Luffy, Kid, and Law as the “New Emperor” and the momentous increase in bounty prices for each member of the crew have surely made the fans excited for what is to come next in One Piece.
